Brewed down in Devon, this is Utopian's take on the rich, roasted dark lagers you find in Czechia. It has that same plush depth: smooth, full-bodied malt, a light cocoa edge and a roasty hint that gives it shape and edge. British, rather than Czech, hops add an earthy note and keep the focus on the malt. Not a million miles from the classic Czech tmavé style - clean, rounded and subtly robust - a spot-on winter lager.

Based in Devon, they craft their brews using time-honoured techniques, but with a British twist, relying solely on locally grown ingredients.
