Our Cask Ales are Tapped!

Medium

We source all our ale from local, independent micro-breweries as 9-gallon firkins which are allowed to settle and condition for up to seven days. We then broach the casks and serve 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel into 2 pint, 4 pint, 5L Minikeg containers - there are no lines or pumps to taint the ale. All our ales are fully temperature controlled to maintain optimum quality.

Treat yourself to a freshly poured pint this weekend.

Fresh 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel. Order your 2 pints, 4 pints or 5L minikegs online. Poured on-site to preserve the freshness.

Only with Love Brewing Lazy Jack South Pacific Pale

In a nutshell:
Luscious, slightly hazy, pale ale bursting with tropical fruit flavours

The lowdown:
This hazy pale ale explodes with sunshine-ripened passionfruit and pineapple, all thanks to a Southern Hemisphere hop transfusion. Vic Secret and Moutere hops, hailing from Australia and New Zealand respectively, weave their magic, ditching the citrus bite for a tropical fruit punch. And with the subtle malt backbone that keeps things grounded everything is rounded off very nicely.

Lost & Grounded Spring Protagonist Bitter

In a nutshell:
Amber English bitter delivering a crisp, biscuity base with a surprising hint of continental spice.

The lowdown:
A biscuity special bitter to welcome in the warmer days, this is a classic English style, but with a continental twist. The mix of ale and lager malts adds a certain je ne sais quoi, a subtle complexity that sets it apart from the usual suspects. The aroma is all lemon zest and marmalade, a bright citrussy hit that hints at the refreshing bitterness to come. On the palate, it's full-bodied and robust, with a satisfyingly chewy malt backbone and a lingering dry finish. It's a beer to savour on a sunny afternoon.

Big Smoke Solaris

In a nutshell:
Light bodied Pale Ale from Esher's Big Smoke Brewery.

The lowdown:
Their biggest selling beer and one of their original brews. With plenty of hop kick it has notes of pine and grapefruit citrus and it checks out with a crisp, dry finish. As are all Big smoke beers it's unfined and unflitered so may have a natural haze.

Style - Bitter, Pale Ale & IPA    ABV 3.8% - Session Strength
