The Lowdown:
Shadowfarer trades the pale-lager script for something darker, but sheds the usual stout or porter weight. It pours deep, with colour and presence, yet delivers a surprisingly smooth texture. Expect malt tones of toasted bread and caramel, hinting at roast without bitterness overtaking. Covering the middle ground strength-wise, it's dark, rich and flavourful, but never overbearing - a lager that leans into shade without losing balance.
The Brewery:
Sibeeria are part of the new guard shaking up Czech beer. Based in Prague since 2014, they clearly love a good lager but aren't about to stop there. One week it's a hazy IPA, the next a pastry stout or a tart little sour, and somehow they make them all work. The point isn't to chase trends so much as to show they can turn their hand to almost anything. In a land famous for pilsner, Sibeeria keep things lively by refusing to be boxed in.
