Sleeman Honey Brown is brewed with natural honey giving it a rich, smooth and distinctive flavour. Quite full-bodied with a rich copper colour and a creamy, off-white head the honey notes lift the aromas of toasted grain and caramel for a touch of sweetness at the finish.
The Brewery:
Since its reopening in 1988, Sleeman Breweries of Guelph, Ontario has grown to become the third-largest brewer in Canada. Today's company is a re-establishment of the original brewery which dates back to the 1800s which was founded by Cornishman John H Sleeman. His descendant John W Sleeman was the one who started things up again using many of the company's original recipes. In 2006 the company was purchased by the Japanese Sapporo Brewery.
