Bold Flavours, Great Value: Our South African White Wine Parcel

Medium

Bright, edgy, and full of character - two South African whites that'll get people talking.

We've got our hands on a small parcel of two cracking South African whites - a pair that put a slightly offbeat spin on a couple of Cape classics: Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc.

These aren't your usual polite dinner party wines. There's a bit of skin contact, wild fermentation, and bags of personality. They're bold, expressive, and just the right side of quirky - full of flavour and not afraid to make themselves heard. One hails from the cooler slopes of Elgin, the other from the rugged coastal vineyards of Swartland, and both showcase the kind of creativity that's made the South African wine scene one of the most exciting around.

We've managed to knock a couple of quid of each, but there's only a small amount to go round - and at just £14.50 a bottle, they're a bit of a steal.

If you like your whites with a bit of bite and a story to tell, now's the time while stocks last.
