Description
Hazy, Juicy & East Coast Style IPA
England: London
ABV 4.3% - 44.0cl
In a Nutshell:
A chestnut-toned amber ale with a fresh green-hop lift, gentle rye spice and a toasty autumnal feel.
The Lowdown:
You'll see 'green hop' beers like this only in the autumn, when the hops come straight off the bine and into the brew before they've had a chance to dry. For a classic amber ale like this it adds a fresher, more aromatic edge. Chestnut coloured, with earthy English hop notes, a hint of rye spice and a warm, toasty malt backbone. With a nicely rounded bitterness it's a fitting autumn beer with added once-a-year green-hop freshness.
The Brewery:
Neckstamper Brewing has been part of East London's craft beer scene since 2016, thanks to Adam Jeffries ditching Formula 1 and finance for something way more fun - beer. Tucked away in the Lea Valley, the brewery takes its name (and its brilliantly quirky beer names) from old beer slang, bringing a bit of brewing history back to life. It's a mix of nostalgia and East London edge, all wrapped up in one seriously creative little brewery.
