It kicks off with a hit of ripe plummy and mulberry aromas and flavours into which a lick of wild herbs and bay leaf notes merge in thanks to the time spent maturing in oak barrels.

Jordan Wine Estate sits in rolling Stellenbosch countryside with views across to Table Mountain and False Bay. A wonderfully picturesque spot which they've made the most of with luxury villas to stay in and fine dining to enjoy, but where making top quality wine is always the main focus. Owners Gary & Kathy Jordan's first wines were made back in 1993 and a with a visit here you'll you won't be surprised by the obvious care and attention they give to all aspects of their operation which is why their wines are held in high regard.
When to drink:
This is one to reach for anytime you fancy a mellow and winning glass of red just by itself. With food, anything Mediterranean will go down a treat.
