If you're in the mood to take a wine-soaked jaunt across Spain, look no further than this. Six wines, each made from a different grape variety, giving you a proper flavour of the country from the sun-baked southeast to the fresh, breezy northwest. Spain is home to some absolute crackers, and we've thrown in a mix of big names and a couple of hidden gems that deserve more time in the spotlight.

You'll find a few heavyweights you'll no doubt recognise - the likes of Tempranillo and Monastrell - grapes that have long been flying the flag for Spain's reds. But we've also added in a couple of varieties that might be less familiar but are well worth a punt. Think juicy, approachable Bobal or the snappy, vibrant Verdejo, both packed with personality.
