Description
Pale, Blonde, Golden & Tripel
France
Organic - ABV 0.5% - 25.0cl
In a Nutshell:
Belgian-style alcohol-free blonde with bright citrus notes and an easygoing Mediterranean touch.
The Lowdown:
Brewed on the Mediterranean but firmly in the Belgian mould, this alcohol-free blonde is light, bright and neatly composed. Soft malt gives a gentle, grainy base, with a citrus edge that leans more towards yuzu than lemon - clean and dry, with a subtle lift.
The Brewery:
Cap dOna was founded in 1998 by Gregor Engler, originally from Lorraine - a region with a rich brewing heritage. He set up shop in Banyuls-sur-Mer, at the other end of the country, bringing that tradition with him to the Mediterranean coast. His beers span crisp, sunlit blondes, robust dark lagers, and the occasional barrel-aged outlier, all brewed with quiet precision and a strong sense of place. Over 50 gold medals speak for themselves, but it's the character and consistency that have earned this brewery its reputation.
