It might only weigh in at an easy going 3.8% ABV, but this straw coloured ale has a surprisingly full flavour. Its pleasant and distinctive aroma leads on to a moderately hoppy bitterness, then leaves you with a really fresh finish.
The Brewery:
After starting out in the village of Shere in the picturesque Surrey Hills their current brewery is now to be found a few miles along the road at the Denbies Wine Estate just north of Dorking right next to Box Hill. Their range of ales has garnered a devoted following over the years and while most of their production goes into cask from time to time they bottle some of the output which never seems to take long to disappear from our shelves.
