In a Nutshell:
Bold, golden IPA loaded with citrus and tropical hops, held in check by a sturdy malt base.
The Lowdown:
Golden in the glass and straight to the point. A blend of aromatic hops brings citrus, tropical fruit and the odd hint of marmalade, with pale malt providing balance and a bit of weight. Bitterness is clean, flavour is clear, and there's nothing hazy - literal or otherwise - about what it's doing.
The Brewery:
After starting out in the village of Shere in the picturesque Surrey Hills their current brewery is now to be found a few miles along the road at the Denbies Wine Estate just north of Dorking right next to Box Hill. Their range of ales has garnered a devoted following over the years and while most of their production goes into cask from time to time they bottle some of the output which never seems to take long to disappear from our shelves.
