A classic best bitter at heart, given a nudge into modern territory with US Cascade hops for a subtle hit of grapefruit citrus. The malt brings an authentic, lightly toasty backbone, while gentle herbal and grassy notes keep it traditional. Bright, balanced and easy to drink, it shows classic bitter character with a fresh hop twist that adds a clean, citrus edge.
The Brewery:
Among the forefront the modern generation of brewers Siren Craft Brew have been building an enviable reputation since 2013 at their brewery in Finchampstead, near Wokingham. In addition to their core range they also have a steady stream of seasonal, special releases and special project beers in production. Part of their philosophy is that they "believe all beer drinkers should be able to enjoy craft beer as wine drinkers enjoy the finest wines" and, as a wine and craft beer specialist, it's something with which we wholeheartedly agree.
