Birra Peroni, established in 1846 by Francesco Peroni in Vigevano near Milan, has grown to become one of Italys largest brewers with a global market reach. Over the years, they've built a reputation for quality and consistency. Their flagship Nastro Azzurro lager, introduced in 1963, stands out as their most important and most recognised label. It's a crisp, refreshing international beer and a staple of pizza houses worldwide. Theyre not just a one trick pony though and do brew a range of other beers that have real interest sometimes seen outside of their home market.
