The Lowdown:
Brewed to celebrate 1,000 years since King Æthelstan was crowned in Kingston, this golden ale is built on English malt for a soft, bready base. Bramling Cross and Endeavour hops bring a dry snap and a flicker of dark berry and citrus. An easy drinker with a bit of local character.
The Brewery:
The Park Brewery was established by Josh and Frankie Kearns, a husband and wife team. Born from obsessive home brewing throughout 2012-2013 and after encouraging feedback from friends and local bottle shops (ourselves among them), they made the leap and invested in a small kit, found local premises and took the brewing out of the family kitchen. They moved into their current brewery in Kingston-upon-Thames in 2018 and being based near Richmond Park, they've used the history and landscape of the place to inspire the naming of their beers.
