Mauricio Lorca, the winemaker, has had plenty of experience working in the wine industry in Argentina, with roles at Catena, Luigi Bosca, and Finca La Celia under his belt. Since branching out for himself he's fine tuned his signature style top class wines without any oak ageing. Mauricio's high-density, high-altitude vineyards are in his beloved Vista Flores in the Uco Valley, with his winery in the Lujan de Cuyo. There's an honesty and vitality about his wines that unfailingly comes across in each bottle.
When to drink:
A wine as fresh as this pairs superbly with fish and shellfish as well as gently spicy asian dishes of all kinds.
