Unlike its Italian counterpart Limongino is a gin liqueur, not vodka based. Freshly zesty lemons, and their juice are paired with the small batch distilled gin and combined with a lick of English sugar. Two and a half lemons go into every bottle. A vibrant symphony of fresh lemon juice zest and zing, with tart bitter lemon notes balanced perfectly with luscious velvety sweetness. Mix with your choice of bubbly or drink with tonic.
The Producer:
Founded by retired biochemist Dr. John Walters in 2011, English Spirit Master Distillers began as one of the few small-batch distilleries in England. From boutique beginnings in Cambridgeshire, they moved to larger premises in Great Yeldham, Essex in 2016, allowing for the expansion of their eclectic range. Further growth saw the opening of a new distillery and visitor centre in Cornwall. Today, their range of spirits and related products is quite prodigious and the journey has taken them from being a small-scale operation to a significant player among English distilleries.
