Brewed with local ingredients and featuring Early Red Saaz hops, this Moravian lager has a classic feel. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it's packed with flavour, offering a delicate bitterness balanced by a solid malt body. A proper, full-flavoured Czech lager.
The Brewery:
Jarosovský Pivovar was established back in 1688, serving the town of Uherské Hradite and growing into one of Moravia's prominent regional breweries. After a challenging post-communist period, the brewery sadly closed in 1997, despite remaining a much-loved local name. Fortunately, it reopened in 2015 and has since regained its footing, producing a range of traditional beers and lagers that have restored its strong reputation. A welcome return for a historic brewery.
