The Lowdown:
Far from the usual Pinot-dominant rosé, Gosset's Grand Rosé blends Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in near equal parts, giving it a brightness and precision that stand out straight away. Crafted using the house's double blending approach, it has a lighter, more refined character that makes it ideal as an aperitif. Delicate notes of strawberry and redcurrant mingle with citrus and a chalky mineral edge. Lively, graceful and perfectly poised, it's right in line with Gosset's signature key of freshness and finesse.

The Producer:Gosset is Champagne's oldest house and one that's always done things its own way. While not a household name like Bollinger or Roederer, it's widely revered among Champagne drinkers who know their stuff. The style is distinctive: full-bodied and vinous, yet sharpened by a trademark tension that comes from avoiding malolactic fermentation. Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims gives weight and depth, Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs adds clarity and finesse, and a touch of Meunier rounds the blend. The result is Champagne that's rich and expressive without losing precision - elegant, gastronomic, and unmistakably Gosset.
