Roda's Reserva is a good example of their modern Rioja style, where vibrant fruit takes the lead and oak plays a more subtle supporting role. Made from old, low-yielding bush vines, the fruit has lovely richness and depth. It spends 16 months in French oak (half of it new) followed by 20 months in bottle, creating something polished yet understated. The colour is an almost Burgundian red, with aromas of red cherry and a gentle hint of spice.
