Our Cask Ales are Tapped!

Medium

FRESHLY TAPPED EVERY THURSDAY

We source all our ale from local, independent micro-breweries as 9-gallon firkins which are allowed to settle and condition for up to seven days. We then broach the casks and serve 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel into 2 pint, 4 pint, 5L Minikeg containers - there are no lines or pumps to taint the ale. All our ales are fully temperature controlled to maintain optimum quality.

Treat yourself to a freshly poured pint this weekend.

Fresh 'gravity ale' straight from the barrel. Order your 2 pints, 4 pints or 5L minikegs online. Poured on-site to preserve the freshness.

ABV 4.8%

In a Nutshell:
A classic British IPA through and through - fragrant with Goldings and Fuggles, smooth caramel malt, and an easy, balanced bitterness.

The Lowdown:
Brewed in Devon with British malt and hops, this one-off special stays true to traditional IPA character. Goldings and Fuggles bring soft floral spice and a touch of orange peel, while the malt lays down gentle caramel and biscuit notes. Everything comes together in a steady, rounded bitterness that feels effortless and complete. It's a well-made, mid-strength IPA that's all about balance and drinkability.

Three Acre Brewery Christmas Old Ale

Brown, Mild & Old Ale
England: East Sussex
ABV 5.6%

In a Nutshell:
A malt-led winter-season Old Ale with roasted depth, nutty richness and a clean, steady bitterness.

The Lowdown:
Classic Old Ale - a darker, fuller beer built on rich malt and winter warmth. Three Acre focus on the style's traditional depth, with roasted and caramelised malts giving chestnut, toffee and toasted-grain character. The hops add an earthy, lightly resinous edge that brings a spruce-like note rather than anything too spiced. It stays rounded, not heavy, with malt leading and the bitterness landing cleanly at the finish.

Classic English bitter in a sessionable mould. Brewed down in Lewes using locally sourced Maris Otter malt and four varieties of English hops, you get a gentle hop presence with a balanced bitterness, lightly toasted malt edge and clean dry finish. Lightish on the ABV, but with character enough to keep you more than happy.
