Description
In a nutshell:
A bright, zippy and fragrant rose from Kent producer Wayfarer Wines.
The lowdown:
Made with 100% Pinot Noir, this English rosé has a gorgeous powdery coral pink hue. On the palate, youll find zingy grapefruit and fragrant raspberries lingering beautifully. Its bright and zesty, with bursting acidity and a perfectly balanced finish.
The Producer:
The story of Wayfarer Wines begins in 2016 when Jeff Ashford planted his first vines behind the family home in Kent. While English sparkling wines are all the rage, Jeff noticed that still wines were often just an afterthought. So, spotting a gap in the market, Wayfarer Wines now offers a range of excellent varietals like Bacchus, Ortega, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris. Their focus is on quality over quantity, and they seem to be pretty good at achieving that.
When to drink:
A great food paring wine for a sunny summer day, would suit fish or chicken dishes.
