A hop forward IPA, with well balanced flavours in a traditional bitter-style IPA.
The lowdown:
Brewed with Utopians floor-malted Maris Otter pale malts along with traditional Fuggles Goldings, and UK Cascade hops. This English IPA is light golden in colour, with hop-forward aromas, a slight biscuity character coming through. Dry and balanced a traditional English IPA bitter-style IPA very much.
The Brewery:
At Utopian they have a simple mission: to celebrate British lager. They're based in beautiful Devon and brew using traditional methods, but they put their unique spin on classic styles, using 100% British-grown ingredients. With a rich tapestry of local ingredients and producers, it was an easy choice for them to reduce their carbon footprint by using only homegrown ingredients. What sets them apart is that the UK leads in building disease-resistant hops, making them both eco-friendly and flavourful.
