Sons of Eden 'Kennedy' Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre, Barossa 2023

Grenache, Shiraz, Mouvedre blends are something of an Australian speciality, particularly in the Barossa Valley one of its heartlands, and in the hands of the Sons of Eden winemakers it expresses its full potential. It's a smooth, rich, rounded and medium-full bodied Rhône style blend from the small, quality orientated winery of Sons of Eden. The palate is bursting with ripe cherry and plum flavours backed with an array of sweet spice and liquorice notes. And the velvety tannins lead onto a long and complex finish making it a luscious example of a premium South Australian GSM blend.

Full bodied, but still easy going, rib-eye steak is a perfect match here, but it's also good with the likes of roast chicken and charcuterie.
