The House of Champagne Pol Roger has 160 years of history, and have carved out one of the most flattering reputations in the select circle of the leading Champagne brands.
The first sale of wine was in January 1849 by Pol Roger. By 1855 Pol had begun to favour the production of brut Champagne. When Pol died, he left behind a brand that had acquired an enviable amount of recognition.
Skipping forward to the present day, between 2001 and 2011 the winery underwent a complete renovation; an undertaking which ensured that the cellar master, Dominique Petit, could vinify cuvees of irrefutable consistency and quality.
