Description
In a nutshell:
Crisp, tart and full of tropical fruit - Hope has arrived in the form of a hazy spring sour.
The lowdown:
Made with apricot and mango purée, and bursting with tropical aromas and a zesty, tangy hit on the palate. It's got that refreshing, moreish tartness you want in a sour - bright, juicy, and not overdone - with a clean, crisp finish that stays sharp without overstaying its welcome. Hazy and golden, it's named after the mimosa flower, a springtime symbol of optimism. A smartly judged, good-tempered sour that fits the season rather nicely.
The Brewery:
The Park Brewery was established by Josh and Frankie Kearns, a husband and wife team. Born from obsessive home brewing throughout 2012-2013 and after encouraging feedback from friends and local bottle shops (ourselves among them), they made the leap and invested in a small kit, found local premises and took the brewing out of the family kitchen. They moved into their current brewery in Kingston-upon-Thames in 2018 and being based near Richmond Park, they've used the history and landscape of the place to inspire the naming of their beers.
Style - Fruit & Kettle Sours ABV 4.0% - Moderate Strength
