The first of two stouts for the winter season, Black Lava is a Baklava inspired stout, fresh honey from a local Leythorne honeybee farm, Pistachio (nut free) and some Vanilla. A mix of dark and roasted malt with oats galore. Vegetarian and no lactose.
The Brewery:
Little Monster Brewing Co is new West Sussex gem. Founded in 2018 by Brenden Quinn, they're now settled in Chichester with a cracking taproom smack bang in the town centre. Don't be fooled by the playful name though, they're dead serious about their beer. True enthusiasts, they brew a brilliant range traversing the whole spectrum of modern craft beer - IPAs with juicy verve, stouts rich as treacle, and saisons light and spritzy as a Sussex breeze.
