Description
In a nutshell:
A light and refreshing English rose from West Sussex, overflowing with ripe red fruit flavours.
The lowdown:
Made using 100% Pinot Noir Precoce grapes, which ripens slightly earlier, it is well suited for the English climate. The colour is slightly deeper than other roses and this comes from the gentle pressing of the grapes prior to fermentation. This wine expresses delicate ripe red fruit flavours like raspberries and fresh cherries. The texture is well-rounded and balanced by the freshness of the acidity. A dry rose with plenty of character.
The Producer:
Kinsbrook Vineyard, near Thakeham in West Sussex, has come a long way since its 2017 beginnings under the stewardship of Joe Beckett and Rebecca Dancer. From a modest start, they've expanded impressively, now boasting over 56,000 vines. Their diverse range of wines includes sparkling, reds, whites, and rosés. But it's not just about the wine. The vineyard is a lovely spot to visit, with a spectacular double-height barn that hosts their cosy restaurant and farm shop. And if you're curious about where the fruit comes from, you can book a tour of the vineyard too.
When to drink:
Would pair well with a summer Barbeque or with a picnic in the park.
Suitable for Vegans
