Description
In a nutshell:
Pale, pink, and pure Provence - this organic rosé nails the region's effortless elegance with bright fruit, crisp freshness, and a laid-back charm thats hard to resist.
The lowdown:
A textbook Provençal blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, and it certainly looks the part - pale raspberry pink and effortlessly inviting. Delicate aromas give way to juicy, sun-kissed Grenache fruit, perfectly balanced with just the right depth of flavour. Super drinkable and refreshingly crisp, it's bright, breezy, and everything you want from a proper Provence rosé.
The Producer:
Domaine de la Vieille Tour is a 22 hectare Côtes de Provence estate situated between Pierrefeu and Cuers west of Saint Tropez. The Domaine's vineyards benefit from lying in a slight geographical depression which has a particular micro climate, encouraging long and even ripening of the grapes. Grapes for the rosé, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, are cultivated on sandstone clay soils and harvested by hand, before being transported to a very modern, gravity-fed winery.
When to drink:
Lovely on a summers day serve chilled accompanied by seafood, Mediterranean dishes, or just by itself. Not bad either at any other time of year whenever a classic rosé is what you're after.
Suitable for Vegetarians, Organic
