The Brewery:
Established in 1833 in Antwerp, De Koninck made its reputation with a regionally atypical mid-alcoholic amber ale with a bitter 'kick' from Saaz hops. Now incorporated into the Duvel-Moortgat brewery, de Koninck are edging into the global craft beer scene with the recent introduction of forward-hopped blonde and spiced ales. The original de Koninck is still a favourite though.
