Description
In a nutshell:
A crisp and delicate Provençal rosé, perfect for unwinding with.
The lowdown:
With elegant floral aromas, bright berry flavours, and a hint of exotic lychee, this is Provençal rosé at its best. Made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Carignan, all harvested at night to keep the fruit fresh, this organic rosé ticks all the boxes. Refreshing and well-balanced, it effortlessly captures the essence of Provence.
The Producer:
Château La Lieue is a lovely fifth-generation estate right in the heart of Provence. Jean-Louis Vial took the leap to go organic back in 1998, and now his son Julien is keeping that tradition alive with a strong focus on sustainability. They make some great reds and whites, but like most places around here, its their rosés that steal the show. These wines really capture the spirit of Provence, blending tradition with a modern touch.
When to drink:
Provençal rosés are always so versatile, but they truly shine with a bit of al fresco dining, paired with seafood and fresh salads.
