Description
In a nutshell:
Fresh and crisp Double dry hopped Pale Ale from Beak Brewery of Lewes, Sussex.
The lowdown:
As part of an ongoing project, Beak Brewery is using its labels to exhibit the work of some of the UK's most urgent writers. The beer is guest edited by the iconic musician and Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore and features an extract from his long-awaited memoir, Sonic Life, offering a rare and illuminating glimpse into the subversive world of the late 1970s New York punk.
The Brewery:
Beak Brewery, nestled in the South Downs near Lewes, is a bird worth watching. Founded by food writer Daniel Tapper, they started life as a nomadic project, brewing hop-forward IPAs and saisons with the likes of Beavertown and Northern Monk. Now, with their own kit, they've landed in Lewes, and brew a diverse range of beers. Expect juicy IPAs alongside traditional best bitters and exciting mixed-fermentation projects. Their taproom, with its ever-changing beer list and street-food canteen, is a must-visit for any beer lover.
Style - Pale Ale ABV 5.5% - Moderate Strength
