A full bodied Bavarian brewed beer for the Oktoberfest season. Full bodied and rich with a malty aroma and enough hops to make it thirst quenching without being overly bitter. An excellent seasonally brewed beer that's only made in limited quantities and while not one of the official Okoberfest beers, since the brewery is not in Munich this is, nevertheless, a very sought after fest beer.
The Brewery:
Located midway between Munich and the Alps in the village of Aying, Ayinger is a relative newcomer among Bavarian breweries. Established in the 1870s the brewery is well known for organising its own local Oktoberfest celebrations since its location precludes it from taking part in the larger annual Munich beer festival.
Style - Bock, Marzen & Festbiers ABV 5.8% - Moderate Strength
