Bodegas Pisuerga, one of Ruedas oldest wineries, is dedicated to crafting classic Verdejo from their organically certified vineyards around the small town of La Seca in the heart of the Rueda DO. The objective is straightforward: produce exquisite wines while looking after the environment. They use cover crops and organic manure to enrich the soils and keep disease at bay, allowing for a more hands-off approach in the vineyard. And at the winery, the close-knit team of oenologist's and winemaker's target is a pure expression of Organic Rueda Verdejo. It's a successful blend of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
