Ranked as the fourth most consumed beer nationally it may surprise you to hear that Brauerei C&A Veltins is still family owned. Located in Meschede-Grevenstein, they began as a small guest house just outside the brewery's present city location. Five generations on and the present-day flagship ale is still their pilsener.
