Doppelbocks are strong German-style dark lagers - big on malt, smooth on the finish - and this one follows suit, just brewed with 100% British ingredients. Made in Devon and given ten weeks to lager properly, it's rich, steady and full of flavour. Toasted bread, dark cereal and a hint of toffee come through clearly, with a clean, dry finish that brings it all to a close. Full-bodied and warming, brewed slow for depth and balance.
