The lowdown: The name is inspired by the statues of water nymphs in Twickenham's York House Gardens. This is an outstandingly hoppy and full flavoured bitter from the use of Pioneer and Styrian Goldings. Full bodied with a luscious aroma it's available all year round.
Established in September 2004, Twickenham Brewery is located just north of Twickenham Green. A micro-brewery by status they now brewing over 100 firkins (72 pint casks) of cask-conditioned ale each week. All their beers are made from malted barley, hops, water and yeast with no further additives.
Their regular cask ales are, Naked Ladies, Grandstand Bitter and Redhead which are supplemented by a range of seasonal, monthly specials and occasional brews.
