A quality toffee spirit drink made using triple-distilled grain vodka and natural toffee syrup made from pure melted cane sugar. Originally an apres-ski drink, particularly well know in Val d'Isere, Thunder is the creation of the former bar manager of G-Jays in that very same resort.
The Brand:
Toffee Vodka has a reputation as the go-to tipple for skiers and boarders across the French Alps. The delicious combination of creamy toffee and crisp ice-cold vodka proved to be the perfect 'straight off the slopes' chill-out drink. And no doubt provided the fuel for some of the more outrageous apres-ski party nights. Back in the 80s and 90s every bar worth its salt across the Alps was creating its own version of this sweet, gooey, boozy bottle of loveliness. It was in this hedonistic atmosphere that Thunder Toffee Vodka was born. The creator was the bar manager at the famous G-Jays bar, nestled directly at the base of the slopes in Val d'Isère. It was here that he perfected his craft, and G-Jays became widely credited with having the 'best toffee vodka in town'.
