The King's Ginger Liqueur

With a dash of lemon peel, sweet candied ginger and fiery, dried root ginger on the finish this 'pick-me-up' liqueur is a pleasantly revitalizing tot on its own or a great addition to whisky cocktails. Originally concocted for King Edward VII at the request of his doctor who wanted something to stimulate and revivify the monarch. It proved good enough to sell commercially which is exactly what Berry Brothers & Rudd did.
