The Cloud Factory Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Crisp, zingy, and packed with sunshine - perfect if you love a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
The Lowdown
This Sauvignon Blanc is a cracker. It's got that unmistakable Marlborough thing going on - all gooseberry and tropical fruits on the nose, with a touch of nettles for intrigue. The taste is zingy and juicy, with lime flavours running through it all and a lick of minerals at the end. A cracking example of a Southern Hemisphere Sauvignon Blanc, if you ask us.
The Occasion
Crack open this lively white for grilled fish, a plate of prawns and avocado, or just savour it on a whim - it's fresh and delicious enough to enjoy either way.
The Producer
Boutinot, the guys responsible for the Cloud Factory label, is a big name in the UK's wine scene and are behind many labels seen on shelves up and down the country. Paul Boutinot kicked things off in 1980, starting with importing wines and soon partnering with winemakers around the globe. Their New Zealand wines are sourced from vineyards in the Awatere, Waihopai and Wairau Valleys of Marlborough, as well as the breezier Waipara region in Canterbury. Here they back passionate winemakers who aren't afraid to push the envelope, always aiming for wines that really capture the essence of their regions. This, along with providing excellent value for money, is something they've really nailed.
