Stardust Loom Blueberry Stout

This is imperial stout territory - rich, dark and robust at 8.2%. The foundations are classic: roasted malts bring depth and toastiness, whilst dark chocolate and coffee notes run through from start to finish. What sets it apart is the blueberry purée, which adds another dimension to complement things. The fruit softens the roast intensity and brings a subtle berry edge that rounds the finish, layering in complexity rather than sweetness. It's hefty but balanced, with enough weight to carry the fruit character whilst keeping the stout's identity intact.

Stardust started in the mid 2010s in a small village just outside Maidenhead and have been quietly, but steadily building a good reputation for their beers. They're just as happy brewing cask conditioned real ales as they are the more cutting edge indie styles. You'll find their beers in a few pubs in their local area - and you can drop down to the brewery as well - but beyond that they're not ones to make a big fuss about what they do. They're happy to quietly go about turning out very drinkable beers.
