First they distill their award winning London Dry Gin in copper stills. Then it's left it to rest on wild sloe berries, hand picked in the autumn. The result is a truly handmade gin that is subtle, complex and bursting with flavour. Great for drinking straight from a hip flask on a bracing winter's day walk, but when the sun's shining a sloe gin spritz made with lemonade and prosecco can really hit the spot.
The Producer:
Sipsmith's story began in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Childhood friends Fairfax Hall and Sam Galsworthy had an unwavering belief in things well made - the way they used to be, the way they should be. They set up London's first traditional copper distillery since 1820, paving the way for many others to follow. Their mission was simple: to bring back London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character to the city where it first earned its name. Today, the distillery is situated in a street in Chiswick, close to where it all started.
