Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle Gin

This is inspired by citrus gins that were popular in the early 1900s. It starts life as their classic London Dry Gin and then sundried lemon peel, lemon verbena and vapour-infused fresh lemons are layered on. It's light, bright ans warming and look out for a mere hint of liquorice at the finish. Makes a superbly lemony Gin sour mixed with lemon juice, sugar syrup and and egg white.

Sipsmith's story began in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Childhood friends Fairfax Hall and Sam Galsworthy had an unwavering belief in things well made - the way they used to be, the way they should be. They set up London's first traditional copper distillery since 1820, paving the way for many others to follow. Their mission was simple: to bring back London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character to the city where it first earned its name. Today, the distillery is situated in a street in Chiswick, close to where it all started.
