Description
In a nutshell:
A rich, complex, and sophisticated VSOP cognac that's effortlessly elegant.
The lowdown:
One of Rémy Martin's most popular offerings, this distinguished VSOP blends spirits from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions, both renowned for producing exceptional Cognac. On the nose, you'll find hints of honey and vanilla sweetness, setting the stage for a spicy palate with touches of dark chocolate, leather, and dried fruits. The finish is smooth, leaving a subtle hint of truffle. A rich, complex, and sophisticated Cognac.
The Producer:
Founded back in 1724 Rémy Martin is thought of as one of the 'Big Four' Cognac Houses. They're well known for their Fine Champagne Cognacs, that is those made only from fruit grown in the two most favoured vineyard zones, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, which due to the quality of the resulting eaux-de-vie they tend to age for longer than most others to achieve a real maturity and mellow character. Their headquarters is in the town of Cognac itself.
