In a nutshell:
An approachable and perfectly balanced northern Portuguese red.
Made with a blend of traditional Iberian grapes this is a fruity, medium bodied, easy-drinking red with really pleasant wood spice and black pepper notes. The six months spent in barrel have given it smooth, fine tannins which balance the black cherry and raspberry flavours nicely.
When to drink:
A nice stand alone drink which also goes well with poultry or pork.
