In a nutshell: A zingy and fresh South African white blend - nothing too complex, just very enjoyable.
The lowdown: An all-round people pleaser for all-round party people. Light and crisp but not lacking a generous dollop of citrus aromas and juicy flavours on the tongue it's tangy and bright with a touch of plumpness on the finish. It's carefully made out of a blend of white varieties grown in the Swartland area of the Cape where the combination of sandy, granitic soils and powerful southern sunshine ensure reliably ripe fruit.
At a pleasingly restrained 11% ABV it's always worth having one of these handy in the fridge.
When to drink: An all occasion white if ever there was one. As well as summer salads it ain't half bad with oysters!
