Pisco ABA
A smooth and aromatic Chilean Pisco distilled from the fermented juice of Muscat grapes.
The Lowdown
Once an obscure grape spirit not much seen outside Peru and Chile, Pisco has gained worldwide fame thanks to the Pisco Sour cocktail. This particular version hails from Chile's Elqui Valley, a region renowned for its Pisco production. Made from Muscat grapes, it's got that classic aromatic character with hints of lemongrass, accompanied by a pleasant spiciness and a creamy texture on the palate. And the finish is tangy and warming, making it perfect for its namesake cocktail.
The Producer
Founded in 1921 near the town of Vicuña in Chile's Elqui Valley, Pisquera Aba sits in the heart of the country's main Pisco-producing area. Still a family-run business, now managed by the third generation, they've harnessed Pisco's growing popularity and their aromatic version can now found around the world.
