Grown on clay-calcareous soils in Progreso, where the coastal climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly and develop intense, complex flavours. Dark ruby in the glass, with compote, brambles, dark chocolate, and a hint of tobacco leading into blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and coffee on the palate. What sets this apart is the balance—it's powerful and full-bodied but stays fresh, with high acidity cutting through firm chalky tannins. Spent 5-6 months in French oak, which adds structure without masking the fruit. From Pisano's flagship Rio de los Pajaros range, made by three brothers who've been at it for decades. Vegan-friendly and sustainably produced.
