Peroni Red

Peroni Red, as it's known, is the original Peroni beer and has been brewed in Italy to the same recipe since 1846. Mainly aimed at its home market and to suit the Italian palate it has subtle fruity and floral notes which complement the contrasting bitterness and sweetness.

Birra Peroni, established in 1846 by Francesco Peroni in Vigevano near Milan, has grown to become one of Italy’s largest brewers with a global market reach. Over the years, they've built a reputation for quality and consistency. Their flagship Nastro Azzurro lager, introduced in 1963, stands out as their most important and most recognised label. It's a crisp, refreshing international beer and a staple of pizza houses worldwide. They’re not just a one trick pony though and do brew a range of other beers that have real interest sometimes seen outside of their home market.
