Handmade in small batches Patron's tequilas are known for their excellent quality. This unaged 'blanco' tequila is full of fruit and citrus aromas which lead onto a very smooth palate with some sweetness and light pepper notes on the finish. A classic if drunk neat with lime and salt, but equally well suited to cocktails.
The Producer:
Launched in 1989 Patrón Tequila was the brainchild of two entrepreneurs, John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley, whose love of tequila and desire to create the best tequila in the world led them to the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. There they found tequila industry veteran Francisco Alcaraz and asked him to produce the highest-quality, 100 percent agave tequila possible. From that meeting, Patrón Tequila was born and from where they've created one of the best premium brands of tequila in the world.
