Pampero Blanco
A crisp and fruity white Venezuelan rum aged aged for a minimum of 2 years in white oak.
The Lowdown
Pampero Blanco rum is, by Venezuelan law, aged for a minimum of 2 years which makes it smoother and richer than any standard white rums. The extra touch of creaminess makes it superbly delicious and one that works well in many cocktails or, more simply, just with cola and a slice of lime.
The Producer
The Venezuelan rum distiller Ron Pampero was founded in 1938 by Alejandro Hernández. The company's logo features a gaucho sitting astride a rearing horse on the South American Pampas. And the name Pampero come from the relentless wind that blows across these plains. Today the business is a part of Diageo's worldwide stable of brands.
